A King's Gamble: Nearly 100 Copies Sold in 12 Days
A King’s Gamble: The Neville’s Cross Campaign, 1346 has been out less than two weeks and already we’ve sold nearly 100 copies between Amazon and signed stock. For a debut indie history title about a half-forgotten medieval battle, that’s nothing short of incredible.
I can’t thank everyone enough for the support. Every copy sold, every word of feedback, every review, it all helps keep the story of Neville’s Cross alive and kicking.
When I started writing this book, my only aim was to tell the story in the way I wanted to read it: vivid, fast-paced, funny when it should be and brutal when it needs to be. To see so many of you pick it up and enjoy it already is hugely encouraging.

Praise for A King’s Gamble
"This book is an extraordinary achievement… the book I wish I had written." ★★★★★
"A marvellous masterpiece of true historical events — exceedingly well researched and a gripping read!" ★★★★★
"Clear, concise writing with a hint of humour brings the research to life." ★★★★★
"Informative, fun and easy to read. Highly recommended." ★★★★★
Thank you again to everyone who’s jumped in early. If you’ve read it, please do leave a review on Amazon, Goodreads, or wherever you bought it, those reviews make a huge difference to an indie release like this.
And if you haven’t yet grabbed a copy, you can find it on Amazon, Blackwell's or order a signed edition directly from me via my website.
Massive thank you once again and here’s to the next 100!
